This policy explains what personal data this event site collects and why: your name, when you take the class quiz and claim a lottery number, and your email address, if you separately choose to opt in to Ragnarok Zero: Global news.

Your name — class quiz & lottery number
When you finish the class quiz, we ask for your name before issuing your lottery number. We use it only so the event host can call your name from the stage if you win a prize — it is shown on the organizer’s screen next to your number and is not used for marketing or shared with anyone outside the event team. This processing is necessary to run the prize draw you’re taking part in (Art. 6(1)(b)/(f) GDPR), so no separate consent checkbox is required for it. We keep it for the duration of the event and delete it shortly afterwards.
Your email — newsletter signup
The newsletter signup on the result screen is entirely optional and separate from the quiz. If you opt in, we collect your email address and the time you submitted it, and — if you gave it right after claiming a number — link it to that entry so we can tell the client which lottery number an interested fan belongs to. We do not collect your quiz answers alongside it.
Why we collect your email
To send you news and updates about Ragnarok Zero: Global by email. We will not use this address for any other purpose, and will not sell or rent it to third parties.
Legal basis for the email signup
Your consent, given by ticking the checkbox on the signup form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw this consent at any time — see “Your rights” below.
How long we keep your email
Until you unsubscribe. If you unsubscribe, we keep your email on a suppression list indefinitely — solely so we know not to email you again.
Who processes it on our behalf
This event site runs on Vercel (hosting) and Upstash (database storage), both of which process this data solely to operate the site and store your entry securely. We use HubSpot (HubSpot, Inc., USA) to actually send the newsletter, which means your email address is also stored with HubSpot in the United States, transferred under appropriate safeguards.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these, contact contact@gameinfluencer.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
